Cat Fence Systems
Cat-proof fence conversions and add-on systems that turn your whole backyard into a safe cat zone.
About Our Cat Fence Systems Service
Cat fence systems turn an existing privacy fence into a cat-safe perimeter, giving your cats the run of the entire backyard. It’s a dramatically larger play area than a traditional catio at a fraction of the per-square-foot cost.
How Cat Fencing Works
We add angled extensions to the top of your existing fence — typically a 45-degree inward arm with mesh or rollers that cats cannot climb over. Combined with ground-level dig prevention, it creates a fully secure backyard.
Works With Most Fences
Wood, vinyl, masonry, and chain-link fences can all accept our extensions. We custom-engineer attachments for non-standard fence types.
Aesthetic Options
From nearly invisible black mesh extensions to color-matched solid panels, you choose how visible the system is.
Available Throughout the South Bay
We provide cat fence systems services in:
San Jose · Santa Clara · Sunnyvale · Milpitas · Campbell · Cupertino · Mountain View · Palo Alto · Los Gatos · Morgan Hill
FAQ
Cat Fence Systems Questions
Will cats really not jump it?
Properly installed angled extensions defeat the cat’s climbing biomechanics — they can’t get a paw over the lip. Our system has a 99%+ containment rate.
Will the system keep other animals out?
It keeps most climbing predators (raccoons, opossums) out, but is not a substitute for a full enclosure against coyotes or aerial predators.
Do I need to own the fence?
You need permission to attach to it. We can work with HOA-approved configurations.
Can it be removed?
Yes — most installations are reversible with no permanent damage.
Does it work on short fences?
We recommend a minimum 5-foot existing fence; shorter fences need height added first.
